Marc Guehi (Crystal Palace)

Chelsea are set to sign a new centre-back this summer, amid the uncertain futures of Axel Disasi, Trevoh Chalobah and Renato Veiga, and they have identified Marc Guehi as a key target.

The England international spent 14 years at Chelsea before his move to Crystal Palace in 2021, and the Blues are now eager to bring him back to west London.

Dean Huijsen has also been linked with a move to Stamford Bridge, although Real Madrid are pushing to agree a deal for the Spaniard, meaning Chelsea may find it difficult to finalise a transfer.

Nico Williams (Athletic Club)

Chelsea are determined to sign a right-footed winger during the 2025 summer transfer window, and Athletic Club’s Nico Williams is on their radar as a result.

The Spaniard is wanted by Arsenal and Barcelona, but Chelsea are reportedly in talks to sign him as Maresca looks to land a replacement for Mykhailo Mudryk.

Jamie Gittens and Jack Grealish have also been linked with a summer move to Chelsea.

Liam Delap (Ipswich)

Liam Delap has enjoyed a fantastic first season at Ipswich Town and he has been linked with every top Premier League club as a result of his form under Kieran McKenna.

Chelsea, however, are thought to be leading the race for his signature amid their pursuit of a prolific centre forward.

Maresca worked with Delap during their time together in Man City’s academy and the Italian is eager for Chelsea to complete a deal for the England U21 international as he looks to add a new striker to his squad.

Victor Osimhen (Napoli - on loan at Galatasaray)

In addition to Delap, Chelsea are also interested in signing on-loan Galatasaray forward Victor Osimhen.

The Nigerian was on the verge of moving to Stamford Bridge last summer, but the deal fell through and he was forced to move to Turkey on loan after being frozen out by Napoli boss Antonio Conte.

Chelsea’s interest in Osimhen has seemingly died down slightly, however they are expected to challenge Manchester United for his signature this summer.

Jadon Sancho (Man Utd - on loan at Chelsea)

Chelsea included an obligation to buy clause in Jadon Sancho’s loan move from Man Utd and they intend to sign him on a permanent deal, despite having the option to break this agreement if they pay a penalty fee of around €6 million.

Sancho flourished at the beginning of his Stamford Bridge spell and although his form has notably dipped, the Blues are still set to purchase him when the 2024-25 campaign concludes.

Furthermore, Chelsea will have the option to sell him on in the future if they decide to sign him this year.
