Recent performances both at club and international level have come in for criticism while there is also the possibility that he moves to take part in the FIFA Club World Cup – a competition that great rival Lionel Messi will play with Inter Miami.

And now Al-Nassr have offered West Ham United €100 million to sign thrilling Ghana international attacker Mohammed Kudus, according to GiveMeSport.

Al-Nassr ready to push for Kudus

West Ham would naturally be reluctant to sell Kudus and knocked back Arsenal's interest in January, but Graham Potter’s side would struggle to overlook such an enormous bid.

The 24-year-old Kudus, who was signed from Ajax for €43m, has developed into one of the Hammers’ standout players. However, there is a possibility that he will swap London for Saudi Arabia in the summer.

Al-Nassr have made it clear they are seeking more attacking reinforcements, having picked up Colombia international forward Jhon Duran from Aston Villa for €77m during January. They also moved for Brighton winger Kaoru Mitoma, who a bumper bid rejected.

West Ham will have little room to negotiate. Kudus reportedly has a release fee of €102m in his contract, which the Saudi bid will come extremely close to matching. Should this be triggered, the Hammers will have no option but to allow the attacker to open contract talks with Ronaldo’s side.

Kudus is reportedly open to a move, but while such a transfer would naturally allow Potter funds to reshape his squad in the summer, this would come at the cost of one of their most devastating offensive threats.
