Romano makes revelation Chelsea fans will love about new €14m star

Fabrizio Romano has made a revelation that will excite Chelsea about the club’s new signing.
Romano has already confirmed that the Blues have agreed on a deal to sign Denner Evangelista from Corinthians, with the 17-year-old set to join the Stamford Bridge outfit in 2026.

Chelsea have earned a reputation for overpaying for young talent in recent times, having been stung by the likes of Mykhailo Mudryk, whom they signed from Shakhtar Donetsk for €70 million.
Romano says, though, that the Blues are set to land a bargain in the form of Denner Evangelista – despite the fact that the teenager has yet to make his senior debut for Corinthians.
“One of my sources tells me that in Brazil they believe this player is worth way more than €10m plus €4m in bonuses, but Chelsea arrived at the right moment and were able to negotiate with Corinthians,” Romano told his YouTube channel.

Chelsea preparing to finalise deal
Romano had previously outlined the terms of the deal and confirmed that everything is in place for the move to be made.
“Chelsea’s next signing is done. He’s a talent for 2026. He’ll arrive next year when he turns 18. It’s Denner Evangelista,” he explained.
“He’s a full-back joining from Corinthians. An agreement was made with this Brazilian player. He’s said yes to a seven-year contract. Chelsea have a great relationship with the agents of the player, the same agents as Andrey Santos, for example. They always want to bring talents from South America, we’ve seen it with Willian Estevao and more players.
“Now Denner Evangelista is joining for €10m plus €4m in add ons. Chelsea will also take over the taxes for the deal. They’re planning for the medical agreement and the contract signing, but the verbal agreement is done. One more for Chelsea’s future.”
