Man City eye BIZARRE move forgotten former Man Utd star

Manchester City have identified Vanja Milinkovic-Savic as a surprise target for the goalkeeper position, according to Italian media.
The Serbia international has been a standout performer for Torino in Serie A in recent seasons. Much like his famous brother Sergej Milinkovic-Savic now at Al-Hilal, Vanja has established himself as a very good player in the Italian top flight.

A decade ago, the goalkeeper spent two years on the books at Man Utd, but he unsurprisingly never made a senior appearance for the Red Devils as he was still a teenager at the time.
Fast forward 10 years and Milinkovic-Savic could make a shock return to Manchester aged 28. At least that is according to Tuttosport, which claims that Man City have identified the Serb as a target between the sticks.
Ederson is facing an uncertain future at the Etihad and is one of the names expected to depart Man City this summer, creating a glaring need for a new goalkeeper.

Man City target Milinkovic-Savic
The Italian outlet claims that Milinkovic-Savic is one of the names under consideration by Pep Guardiola as he looks for a shot-stopper suited to his style of play.
However, the report also states that there could be a transfer battle for the signature of Milinkovic-Savic as Napoli are also credited with a concrete interest.

Antonio Conte is said to be a huge admirer of the 6ft 8in (2.02m) giant and will look to bring him to Naples this summer. A move within Serie A does appear more likely as Milinkovic-Savic would be a surprising acquisition for Man City.
At 28, he is by no means old for a goalkeeper, but Man City will likely try to pursue a younger option. FootballTransfers exclusively revealed in January that Porto star Diogo Costa is the favoured option for Guardiola and new sporting director Hugo Viana.
