Man Utd praised as dog joins star for contract renewal: Best signing ever!

Manchester United Women have been praised for the announcement of Millie Turner’s new contract, with the defender joined by her dog Pongo to celebrate the occasion.
Turner has been with the Red Devils since the formation of the women’s team, joining from Bristol City in 2018, and has committed herself to a new deal that expires in 2028.

She has played 167 times for the Women’s Super League club and her impact at the club has been subject of widespread praise.
Manager Marc Skinner said: “Millie has been here since the beginning, and she is an important part of the team. She’s part of my leadership group but I still think there is even more growth to come. We have unfinished business and aspirations for success, she is hungry to keep improving and a key person in driving the high standards we have here as a club.”
But while the 28-year-old’s renewal is a boost to Man Utd as a whole, it was her signing pictures that really caught the eye.
