Garnacho, 20, was heavily linked with a move to Naples during the January transfer window, following their sale of Khvicha Kvaratskhelia to Paris Saint-Germain, but the deal failed to materialise and he remained at Old Trafford.

However, Napoli have been tipped to rekindle their interest this summer and they have now presented Man Utd with an €80m bid, as per a sensational report from Fichajes.

Antonio Conte’s side are aiming to strengthen their attack during the 2025 summer transfer window and they have reportedly identified Garnacho as a key target, despite his struggles at Man Utd this season.

The Argentina forward has only registered one goal contribution in his last 17 Premier League appearances, yet he is being chased by Chelsea and Napoli as both clubs believe he has the potential to become one of the world’s best wingers.

What has Ruben Amorim said about Alejandro Garnacho?

Despite rumours of a Man Utd exit this summer, Amorim admitted his desire to keep Garnacho at the club back in February.

“I'm happy to have Garnacho here,” Amorim told TNT Sports. “He's improving a lot. He's a young, talented guy.

“You want to work with these guys with talent. That's what drives the coaches to improve the team; to have these kinds of players that you know they are going to improve a lot.

“In football, especially when we are in these situations, sometimes it's hard, but I don't want to focus on that.”

Garnacho, who has scored nine goals in all competitions so far this season, has three years remaining on his current contract at Man Utd, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €66.1m.
