Paul Pogba has dropped a major transfer hint following the conclusion of his doping ban last week.

The former France international was banned for four years after testing positive for testosterone in September 2023, but that was soon reduced to 18 months and he is now available to join a new club on a free transfer.

Juventus mutually terminated Pogba’s contract in November 2024 and the 32-year-old has been linked with a number of clubs in recent months, including Manchester United.

The French midfielder left Old Trafford to re-join Juventus back in 2022, but he has been tipped to return to the club amid the Red Devils’ search for a new central midfielder.

However, Pogba has now hinted that a move to MLS side LAFC may be on the cards instead.

Paul Pogba to join LAFC?

Pogba is currently training in Miami as he waits to join a new club, as per Manchester Evening News, and he was in attendance for LAFC’s clash against Austin on Saturday.

Pogba’s former France team-mates Hugo Lloris and Olivier Giroud were both in action for LAFC, and the ex-Man Utd star’s presence at the game has fuelled speculation that he could join the MLS outfit on a free transfer.

Multiple clubs in the United States of America have been linked with signing Pogba on a Bosman deal following his Juventus exit, and a move to LAFC may be on the cards later this year.

A return to Man Utd has been tipped as an option for Pogba, although rumours of a move back to Old Trafford appear speculative in nature. The Frenchman is now 32 years old and given he hasn’t played a competitive match in 18 months, he is extremely unlikely to secure a transfer to Man Utd for the third time in his career.
