The 24-year-old was heavily linked with a move to Al-Nassr in January, but the proposed deal fell through when the Saudi Pro League outfit opted to sign Aston Villa centre forward Jhon Duran instead.

However, Leverkusen are still willing to cash in on Boniface and they are set to demand a transfer fee of €50m, as per German outlet FussballTransfers.

Man Utd have identified Boniface as one of their nine striker targets as they search for an adequate replacement for Rasmus Hojlund, and the Red Devils will be buoyed by news that the Nigerian is set to leave Bayer Leverkusen this summer.

Xabi Alonso’s side are also expected to allow Jeremie Frimpong to depart for €40m, amid interest from several top clubs, including Liverpool, while Jonas Hofmann, Arthur and Aleix Garcia may be sold too.

Bayer Leverkusen to sign Mykhailo Mudryk?

Although Leverkusen are set to allow several stars to leave this summer, they are expected to be fairly active in regards to incomings, and they have identified Chelsea outcast Mykhailo Mudryk as a target.

That is according to Fichajes, who claim that Alonso is “convinced” that Mudryk could become a key player in his system at the BayArena.

The Ukraine international was on the verge of joining Leverkusen back in 2022, but the deal collapsed when Shakhtar Donetsk attempted to re-negotiate the fee, with Mudryk having already completed his medical and signed his contract with the Bundesliga side.

However, Bayer Leverkusen have kept tabs on his development ever since, and they are reportedly eager to complete a deal this summer, despite Mudryk’s struggles at Chelsea and the fact that he is currently suspended after a positive doping test.
