Arsenal can sign Cole Palmer 2.0 after David Ornstein revelation

The England international has been nothing short of sensational for Aston Villa since joining the club from Middlesbrough in the 2024 January transfer window.

This season, the energetic and versatile attacking midfielder has notched an impressive 13 goals and 11 assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.
Although his numbers are not quite as impressive, Rogers' rise to prominence has mirrored that of good friend Cole Palmer, who famously stole his 'cold' celebration.
After playing together in Man City's academy and with England's youth teams, the two are still close friends and it seems that Rogers could soon be playing for one of London's big clubs just like the Chelsea star.

Ornstein update and Arsenal opportunity
According to David Ornstein of The Athletic, Rogers' form is not going unnoticed outside of Birmingham. Responding to a question about Aston Villa's summer plans in a Q&A session, the journalist made an eye-catching revelation.
"An outgoing wouldn’t come as a huge surprise," Ornstein wrote. "There are always clubs looking at Jacob Ramsey, while Morgan Rogers is generating some big admirers. That is not to say these guys are leaving and certainly the club will not want to lose their best players. But it will be another big summer as Villa look to kick on again."
Ornstein did not specify which clubs in particular are keeping tabs on Rogers, but data from SciSports can give us a good idea as to where his future could potentially lie.

Using the data analytics firm's Career Advice tool, we can see that Atletico Madrid, Napoli and Arsenal would be his best-suited next destinations. At Arsenal, his prospects of a starting role would be slim due to the presence of Martin Odegaard.
However, due to his amazing versatily and the relentless schedule that top clubs now have to contend with, it is clear that Rogers would get more than enough minutes.
Arsenal are desperately scrambling to add to their attack this summer and a player like Rogers, who has proven Premier League quality and can fill several roles, will certainly be on their radar. He could become Arsenal's very own Cole Palmer.
