Aston Villa in ‘HISTORIC’ contract offer as Real Madrid star targeted

Aston Villa are busy planning their summer transfer business, with one existing star set to receive a bumper new deal while sporting director Monchi is looking to Real Madrid to snap up a thrilling young talent.
Boubacar Kamara is in line for a “historic” new deal with the Villa Park side, with FootMercato reporting that the Birmingham side are desperate to fend off several sides seeking to sign the France international star away.
Kamara still has two years left to run on his contract, but negotiations are ramping up, with what is described as a “golden proposition on the table”.
The report states: “Aston Villa want to do everything they can to secure Boubacar Kamara. The idea is to offer him a historic contract. This is unprecedented for the club.”
Aston Villa have been sent a warning, though: Kamara wants Champions League football next season if he is to continue with the Birmingham side.
Signed on a free transfer from Marseille in the summer of 2022, he now has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €45.8 million, so even if Villa are forced to sell, they will make a huge profit on him.
Villa target Arda Guler
While working to secure the future of Kamara, Aston Villa are also working on securing Arda Guler from Real Madrid, according to a report from Fichajes.
Although rated as one of the most promising young attacking midfield talents in the world, the €20 million Guler has struggled to make an impression in Real Madrid’s stacked squad.
Aston Villa are “one of the most interested teams”, with a deal being driven by Monchi, who believes the young Turk will fit perfectly into Unai Emery’s dynamic, possession-based style of play.
A loan deal for the duration of a season is expected to be offered to the former Fenerbahce prodigy.
Guler is under contract at Real Madrid until 2029, and with an ETV of €53.1m, he will be very hard for Aston Villa to tie down on a permanent basis.
