Estevao turns 18 on Thursday and will be allowed to head to Stamford Bridge this summer, with the anticipation for the arrival of one of the world's biggest talents growing.

Despite his age, Estevao is already one of the biggest names in Brazilian football and has earned comparisons to the likes of Neymar and Lionel Messi.

At Chelsea, he is expected to immediately assume an important role. His agent Andre Cury has repeatedly stated that the West London giants view him as a No.10, which will make for an interesting dynamic considering the number of players Chelsea already have in that role.

Estevao's arrival confirmed

As both Palmeiras and Chelsea will compete in this summer's Club World Cup, there has been some uncertainty surrounding the exact time of Estevao's arrival and which club he would play for at the tournament.

Cury has now set the record straight and revealed that his 'world-class' client will play the Club World Cup with his Brazilian side before making the move to Chelsea.

"He's arriving after the Club World Cup," Cury told AS in a lengthy interview. "He's a world-class player. Very good. A guy who's going to make history here."

Despite his glowing praise for the teenager, Cury has sought to play down comparisons with Neymar and Messi. "No, it's better not to make comparisons," he insisted.

"He has his own style, but he's a very good player. He has a good family structure that helps him on a daily basis and is essential. Afraid of the jump to the Premier League? No, he'll play calmly. He'll arrive and be ready to play. He's playing very well at Palmeiras."
