Yildiz, 19, has enjoyed a breakthrough campaign at the Allianz Stadium and he has been identified as a key target by Enzo Maresca’s side amid their search for a new left winger.

Mykhailo Mudryk is currently suspended after a positive doping test, Jadon Sancho has been largely underwhelming since his arrival from Manchester United, and could be sold this summer, while Pedro Neto has frequently fared better on the right flank.

As a result, Chelsea are expected to sign a left winger this summer and they have added Yildiz to their list of transfer targets following long-standing interest in both Nico Williams (Athletic Club) and Jamie Gittens (Borussia Dortmund).

In fact, CaughtOffside claim that Chelsea have now “intensified” their pursuit of Yildiz, despite the fact that Juventus are set to demand a transfer fee of around €100 million.

The Turkey international is yet to indicate that he wants to leave the Turin giants, but Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and Man Utd are all reportedly interested, while Chelsea are now pushing to win the race for his signature.

Kenan Yildiz at Juventus this season

Yildiz has scored eight goals and provided four assists in 46 appearances for Juventus so far this season, and he has been a shining light in a fairly disappointing campaign from the Turin giants.

He was, however, sent off during their 2-0 win over Monza on Sunday afternoon after elbowing Alessandro Bianco in first-half stoppage time. Despite this, Juventus boss Igor Tudor was eager to heap praise on the youngster following the game.

“Kenan is world class, only those with real talent can play in those roles and they are rare,” Tudor told reporters.

Yildiz’s Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at €52.6m, the highest of his career, while his current contract at Juventus isn’t due to expire until 2029.
