Chelsea bombshell: €70m target 'DREAMS' of transfer

Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy “dreams” of playing in the Premier League at some point in his career, according to reports in Germany.
The 29-year-old overtook Raphinha as the top goalscorer in the Champions League so far this season after scoring a hat-trick against Barcelona on Tuesday night and his form has attracted significant transfer interest ahead of the 2025 summer window.

Chelsea were eager to sign the Guinea international last year, but they ultimately decided against finalising an agreement with Stuttgart and Guirassy eventually ended up at Dortmund instead.
However, an exit in 2025 is on the cards as his contract with the Bundesliga giants contains a €70 million release clause, which applies to around six clubs, including Chelsea, according to Sport Bild.
Guirassy has enjoyed a sublime season at Dortmund, scoring 28 goals in 40 appearances across all competitions, but he is reportedly eager to “fulfil his dream of playing in the Premier League,” which has prompted rumours of Chelsea rekindling their interest this summer.
The Blues are expected to sign a new centre forward this summer and Guirassy could represent a more experienced option than fellow targets Liam Delap and Benjamin Sesko.

Chelsea urged to sign Serhou Guirassy
Despite missing out on his signature last summer, Chelsea have been urged to sign Guirassy this year by club legend Joe Cole.
After Guirassy’s hat-trick against Barcelona, he told TNT Sports: “The recruitment team at Dortmund are incredible.
“They have some system there because players feel at home there. Guirassy, how much would he go for now? They will be queuing up for him I’m sure
“I think Chelsea, he can play that role. Arsenal, maybe. He’s got that ability. If you’re putting the ball in the back of the net at that rate, you can pick your club and pick your money.”
Owen Hargreaves added: “He would be perfect [for the Premier League]. He scored a ton of goals at Stuttgart and he’s scored a ton of goals at Dortmund. Look at his numbers, that’s the best of the best.
“He’ll be telling his agent to sort something out. He’s at a brilliant football club but teams are going to look at him - how many teams need to sign strikers this summer?”
Guirassy has three years remaining on his current contract at Dortmund, while his Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) stands at a career high of €44.7m.
