Rashford, 27, has enjoyed an impressive loan spell at Aston Villa, since his arrival in January, and Unai Emery’s side have the option to sign him permanently for €46.6 million (£40m) this summer.

However, FootballTransfers has been informed that Tottenham are keeping tabs on Rashford’s situation after opting against pursuing a deal during the winter window.

Spurs were interested in landing the Man Utd winger in January, but we understand that Ange Postecoglou pushed to sign Bayern Munich youngster Mathys Tel on a short-term loan deal instead.

Despite this, Tottenham will rekindle their interest in Rashford if Villa decide against signing him on a permanent deal this summer.

Manchester City outcast Jack Grealish is also under consideration by the Tottenham hierarchy, amid his uncertain future at the Etihad Stadium, while Southampton wonderkid Tyler Dibling is viewed as a target for the right wing position.

James Maddison could leave Tottenham

FootballTransfers has also been informed that James Maddison could depart Tottenham if a suitable offer arrives this summer.

The England midfielder has registered 11 goals and nine assists in all competitions so far this season, but he has only started 20 Premier League matches in 2024-25 and we understand that a summer exit could potentially be on the cards.

Maddison is now 28 years old, although his current contract with Spurs isn’t due to expire until 2028 due to the fact he signed a five-year deal upon his arrival from Leicester City.
