Liverpool star wants Real Madrid move: Agent drops transfer bombshell

Liverpool face losing Trent Alexander-Arnold to Real Madrid on a free transfer in the summer, but the Reds have been told another Anfield first-team star would love to go the Bernabeu in controversial quotes delivered by his agent.
Ryan Gravenberch is the Liverpool star in question, with the future of the Netherlands international suddenly thrust into doubt by the words of Jose Fortes, who has claimed the 22-year-old dreams of a switch to the Bernabeu.
While the agent admitted that a deal is not on the cards imminently, it is clearly outlined as a long-term goal.
“He’s good enough for Real Madrid. We would love for him to play for them, but Liverpool would ask for a lot of money. I know they have their eye on him, but for now it’s impossible,” he told Marca.
Gravenberch turned down Barcelona
Fortes leans heavily into what is best for his player’s development and explained that Gravenberch has already turned down Barcelona.
“When Ryan was 16, Barca called us. They wanted to sign him, but his father and I prioritised his development,” he said.
Similarly, this drive to always improve was behind the player’s decision to leave Bayern Munich and sign for Liverpool.
“Ryan needed playing time to develop. I told Julian Nagelsmann [Bayern’s coach at the time] that if he didn't play, he would leave,” the agent explained. “We were clear that he had to go to Liverpool; he fit in perfectly with this team.”

And so it has proven. Gravenberch has established himself in the Liverpool plans of first Jurgen Klopp and now Arne Slot, which is why it will come as such a blow to the Reds to hear the talk of Real Madrid.
Under contract until 2028, the Anfield side remain in full control of Gravenberch’s future, and with an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €85.5 million, it will take an enormous bid to prise him away.
Real Madrid will have to wait.
