The Argentina international has been heavily linked with an Old Trafford departure in recent months, following interest from Chelsea and Napoli during the January transfer window, and a summer move certainly appears to be on the cards.

Garnacho has spent the last five years at Man Utd, after joining the club from Atletico Madrid in 2020, but he has now hinted that a transfer could take place later this year by attempting to sell his mansion.

The 20-year-old reportedly paid £3.804m for the seven-bedroom house in April 2024, but he has now asked an estate agent to put it on the market for £3.85m, according to The Sun.

The report claims that Garnacho has instructed the estate agent to “exclusively and discreetly” market the property, with only one picture posted online, in an attempt to avoid public attention.

Alejandro Garnacho to leave Man Utd?

Although Garnacho may simply be looking to find a new property in the Manchester area, his actions have hinted that a move away from Old Trafford could take place following the conclusion of the 2024-25 campaign.

The Argentine has only scored once in his last 26 appearances across all competitions for Man Utd and the Red Devils may look to offload him this summer in order to generate ‘pure profit.’

Ruben Amorim is eager to oversee a major revamp ahead of the new season, although he is set to be hamstrung by financial issues and Man Utd may therefore be required to sell several first-team stars before they are able to bring in any new signings.

Garnacho is one player who could be sacrificed this summer, while Marcus Rashford, Antony, Kobbie Mainoo and Rasmus Hojlund have also been linked with permanent exits.
