Man Utd talks to sell Hojlund BREAK DOWN

Manchester United are struggling to sell Rasmus Hojlund this summer because their asking price is too high.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, United have been in informal talks with Napoli to sell Hojlund at the end of the season.

Napoli manager Antonio Conte is a fan of the player and sees him as a potential long-term successor for the ageing Romelu Lukaku.
However, United are demanding €60 million to sell the Denmark man and that is considered excessive by the Italian side.

Hojlund put up for sale by Man Utd
It is reported by multiple sources that Manchester United have put Hojlund up for sale after a second disastrous season at the club.
Man Utd signed Hojlund in the summer of 2023 from Atalanta for €75 million plus €10m in add-ons.
The 22-year-old has struggled badly, failing to score a single Premier League goal before Christmas in his first season.
Despite picking up in the second half of the campaign, he has been a disaster in his second season.
Hojlund has just three Premier League goals all season and United have now given up on the striker as they play for next season.

Ruben Amorim has made the signing of a top-class number nine one of his priorities for the summer transfer window.
According to reports in Turkey, United are very close to completing the signing of Victor Osimhen. English sources, meanwhile, report that Liam Delap could move to Old Trafford.
Either way, United need to sell Hojlund first to raise funds for their incoming players.
It seems likely United will have to lower their asking price if they want to sell Hojlund, who also has interest from Juventus.
Hojlund exploded in the first half of 2023 as one of the most exciting young talents in European football.
He scored 15 goals in the calendar year for club and country prior to his move to Man Utd.
However, he has failed badly to fulfil his potential at United.
