DELUSIONAL Man Utd set ridiculous Rasmus Hojlund price

Manchester United have slapped a ridiculous €65 million price tag on Rasmus Hojlund, according to a report.
The Red Devils desperately need attacking reinforcements. Their epic comeback victory over Lyon on Thursday nicely illustrated the club's lack of a prolific No.9 as they effectively ended the game with a frontline of Mason Mount, Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire.

Rasmus Hojlund failed to have an impact yet again, while Joshua Zirkzee, who will miss the rest of the season due to injury, also came under repeated fire prior to being sidelined.
Hojlund, in particular, has grabbed the headlines in recent times as his underperformance has been particularly glaring in the context of his 2023 transfer to Old Trafford.
Man Utd had shelled out an eye-watering €74 million on a relatively unproven but talented young striker, who was being billed as the 'next Erling Haaland.' Two years on, however, the Dane appears to be on his way out.

Hojlund price revealed
Juventus hold a concrete interest in the former Atalanta man, and there have been reports that they could look to offer up Dusan Vlahovic in a potential swap deal.
Man Utd could also simply sell Hojlund to recoup some of their inflated outlay, but if the latest news on the situation is anything to go by, they will struggle to find a buyer for the 22-year-old.

That is because CaughtOffside claims that Man Utd are demanding a ridiculous €65m for the misfiring striker, which seems completely unreasonable whatever way you look at it.
Of course, Hojlund still has evident potential, and he currently has an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of €60m. However, his stocks are on a downward trajectory, and his recent performances give little reason for hope that he can arrest this trend.
Man Utd desperately need funds this summer, and they can ill-afford to play hardball. No European club will actually pay €65m for Hojlund, who is still under contract at Old Trafford until 2028.
The report claims that Inter and Napoli are also among his admirers, but a fee in the region of €40m-€50m may be much more realistic for a player with just eight goals to his name this season.
