Five players who could join Tottenham this summer

Tottenham Hotspur have endured a fairly miserable campaign under Ange Postecoglou and although they aren’t typically big spenders, they may need to dip into their pockets this season.
The competitiveness of the Premier League means Spurs must sign reinforcements if they want to cement their place as regular challengers for Champions League qualification, and a number of stars have been linked with the north London outfit in recent months.
Below, FootballTransfers runs through five players who could join Tottenham this summer.

Angel Gomes (Lille)
Angel Gomes will leave Lille on a free transfer this summer, and he is widely expected to return to England when his current contract with the French side expires in July.
Manchester United and West Ham United have both been heavily linked with a move for Gomes in recent months, although Tottenham are set to challenge for his signature as they look to finalise a Bosman deal.
FootballTransfers understands that Spurs have initiated contact with Gomes’ representatives, having identified the Englishman as a key target for the summer window.

Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace)
Eberechi Eze has been touted to leave Crystal Palace for several years, however an exit could be on the cards this summer as his current deal at Selhurst Park is due to expire in 2027.
The Eagles will be keen to retain their star man, but Tottenham could test their resolve with a big-money offer following months of interest in the England international.
Manchester City are previous admirers of Eze, although their pursuit of the Palace star has seemingly died down, which may help Spurs’ pursuit.
Tyler Dibling (Southampton)
Tottenham are one of the leading contenders to sign Southampton wonderkid Tyler Dibling, although they are expected to face widespread competition in the race to land him this summer.
FootballTransfers understands that Dibling is a key target for Spurs, largely due to their desire to build a team full of talented youngsters - a category he certainly falls into.
However, Southampton are set to demand a fee of at least €120 million, as per reports, which may complicate Tottenham’s pursuit of the teenager.
David Hancko (Feyenoord)
Tottenham captain Cristian Romero has been tipped to potentially leave the club amid interest from Atletico Madrid and Aston Villa, and the club will need to sign a replacement if the Argentina ends up departing.
Feyenoord’s David Hancko is one option being considered by the Spurs hierarchy and the north London outfit are reportedly interested in completing a deal for the Slovakian this summer.
However, Juventus are pushing to sign him, while a number of other top English teams are also monitoring his form in the Eredivisie and may pursue a summer deal.

Chris Rigg (Sunderland)
Chris Rigg is wanted by a plethora of Premier League clubs and Tottenham Hotspur are firmly in the race to acquire his signature.
As mentioned earlier, Spurs are eager to build a young team capable of achieving future success, and they have identified Rigg as a key target amid his impressive breakout campaign at Sunderland.
Rigg has two years remaining on his current deal at Sunderland, so the Black Cats may consider a sale if he opts against committing his long-term future to the club.
