Osimhen dealt DEVASTATING Man Utd blow

Victor Osimhen has been closely linked with a summer transfer to Manchester United in recent times, but the Napoli striker has just been dealt a devastating blow to his Old Trafford dream.
Osimhen has spent the season on loan at Galatasaray after a succession of transfers fell through last summer.
Some of these were due to Napoli’s extravagant transfer demands, but equally the player’s wages also blocked a move to Chelsea when he seemed primed to move to the Premier League.
And now the 2025 summer transfer window is set to start in a similar fashion, despite previous claims that the outline of an agreement had been reached with Man Utd.
Talks over the course of the last week suggest that signing Osimhen for Man Utd will be “even more complicated than anticipated”, according to GiveMeSport.

Osimhen to Man Utd: Why there's still hope
Osimhen’s salary is again set to block any potential move, it is claimed.
The Nigeria international striker is believed to be demanding around €350,000-per-week, which is a figure that United simply cannot afford to pay.
In addition to this, Osimhen is unwilling to reduce his demands while the Red Devils are refusing to break their wage structure, leaving transfer talks at an impasse.
But some hope remains. Although Man Utd have accelerated to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich Town, the Red Devils want this deal done quickly.
On the other hand, Delap, who has a €35 million release fee due to the relegation of the Tractor Boys, is believed to want to take his time to consider his options. Chelsea have also emerged as a possibility for the England U21 striker, who does not want to be hurried into a move.
United may need to revisit the Osimhen deal should they miss out on Delap, though it appears that any transfer will be reliant on the Nigerian reducing his wage demand.
