RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Newcastle United’s Alexander Isak are also on the Gunners’ radar, although they have seemingly set their sights on Gyokeres amid his impressive form in the Portuguese top flight.

TBR Football have claimed that a move to Arsenal is “hugely appealing” to Gyokeres and he is ready to identify the Emirates Stadium as his “first choice” destination for this summer.

In addition, talkSPORT have confirmed that Gyokeres is “open” to joining the north London giants as he has been “impressed” by the club’s project.

Chelsea and Juventus are also keen on landing Gyokeres this summer, however, while Manchester United remain interested in signing the Sweden star as Ruben Amorim aims to be reunited with the forward following their time together at Sporting.

Despite this, Arsenal appear to be leading the race for Gyokeres’ signature as they look to finalise an agreement amid their pursuit of a new centre forward capable of leading them to the Premier League title next season.
