Arsenal Transfer News LIVE: THREE elite clubs want Saliba, Osimhen ATTITUDE concerns?

Arsenal managed to achieve exactly what they set out to do this summer: upgrade their team.
The Gunners have improved each campaign under the tenure of Mikel Arteta and that is partly due to their shrewd activity in the transfer market under him.
In the summer of 2023, Arsenal broke their transfer record to sign Declan Rice from West Ham for €116.6 million, while Kai Havertz, Jurrien Timber and David Raya (loan) also arrived as the Gunners spent big after missing out on the English top flight title.
In fact, the club haven't been shy in splashing the cash recently to try and fight the might of Manchester City and Liverpool in the Premier League, and with an injection of Champions League money, they spent fairly big yet again in the summer of 2024.
David Raya, Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino all arrived on permanent deals, while Raheem Sterling and goalkeeper Neto joined on loan.
As always with such a big club, the Arsenal transfer rumour mill continues to be in full swing, with Arteta always keen to add to the talent he has already brought to the club.

Where next for Raheem Sterling?
Raheem Sterling could be set to leave the Premier League on a permanent basis as Galatasaray are reportedly interested in signing the winger from Chelsea.
He is currently on loan at Arsenal from the Stamford Bridge side but has underwhelmed in his temporary spell, with a return to Chelsea likely this summer.
Sterling may be on the move again, though as the Turkish giants are preparing a bid, according to FotoMac.
HUGE cost of 'free' transfer
Arsenal still want to sign Jonathan David on a free transfer this summer - but the deal will be far from free.
David will leave Lille as a free agent in a few months and has been linked with a host of clubs around Europe, including the Gunners. According to Sky Sports, David's team are demanding a gross salary of €9 million per season, a €15m signing-on fee for the striker, plus an agent fee of €10m.
Gyokeres BOOST as United out of the running
Gyokeres front of the queue?
Andrea Berta's arrival at Arsenal has re-ignited the club's interest in Viktor Gyokeres.
The Gunners have been linked with several strikers including Benjamin Sesko and Alexander Isak, as well as the Sporting CP striker. However, Gyokeres may now be a top priority as the club's new sporting director Berta is reportedly a big fan. (David Ornstein)
Arsenal or Man Utd for Cunha?
Arteta comments on Berta acquisition
This week, Arsenal confirmed the acquisition of Atletico Madrid's Andrea Berta as their new sporting director. Here's what boss Mikel Arteta had to say about the appointment.
“The first words [of Berta] were winning, improving, demanding. His drive and will to win is going to be very contagious,” the Gunners manager told reporters.
“He is a big addition to the club. A team that is already formed with a lot of great people. Richard [Garlick] leading it, but also James [King], Jason [Ayto] - a lot of people that have been doing such great work. It's about building that chemistry
“I believe Josh [Kroenke] was fully involved in the process as well, so we are all very excited to have him.”

Arsenal receive transfer double blow
Arsenal could receive a double transfer blow with reports that two of their top targets are in talks over a new contract at their current clubs, ending Mikel Arteta’s chances of signing them.
Two of Arsenal’s ideal targets this summer would have been Newcastle duo Anthony Gordon and Alexander Isak but new reports have claimed that both players could be in line for new contracts at St James’ Park.
