Manchester United flop Jadon Sancho is fast turning into a Chelsea flop and the Blues have been tipped to offload the winger this summer.

Sancho is in the midst of a dreadful run of form for Chelsea, having failed to register a single goal contribution in the last 11 games.

His latest dismal showing was on Sunday when he was substituted after 76 minutes in the 1-0 defeat at Arsenal.

Former Chelsea and Arsenal star William Gallas believes there is no way Sancho can stay at the club next season playing like this.

What did Gallas say?

"Did you see him dribble past his left-back today? No. He did nothing," the Frenchman said on Stadium Astro.

"He didn't challenge his left-back opponent. He always gets the ball, does some skills, and then passes the ball back. We want to see more, especially when you are the winger.

"That player has talent. He's a talented player, everybody knows this, but we don't know why he can't perform and can't show what he can do.

"At Dortmund, he was magnificent. At Manchester United, it didn't work well for him. He came to Chelsea, and at the beginning, we saw that Sancho from Dortmund, but then he disappeared.

"I don't know what the problem is, but at the moment, he can't stay at Chelsea because he has to do more.

"When you play in the Premier League, you have to play every game at the highest level. It's not easy, but you can't just play well for a few games and then chill out."

Chelsea signed Sancho on an initial loan that was reported at the time to be guaranteed to become permanent for €25 million to €30m next summer.

It was reported that the west London side would automatically sign Sancho long term if they finish higher than 15th in the Premier League.

But it was reported last week that Chelsea also inserted a clause in the deal that allows them to back out of a permanent deal by paying Man Utd a financial penalty.

With Sancho in such dreadful form it is now being suggested that Chelsea could send him back to United.

It would mean that Sancho is unwanted by both United and Chelsea, and would have to find himself a new club next season.

After a bright start at Chelsea in which he grabbed three assists in his first three games, Sancho has returned to the poor performances we saw at Man Utd.

The last time Sancho managed a goal or asssist was in the 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace on January 4 when he got the asssist for Cole Palmer.

Sancho has one goal contribution in the last 14 games, while the last time he scored was 15 games ago against Tottenham on December 8. He has just two goals all season.

Sancho troubles at Man Utd

Sancho joined Man Utd from Dortmund for €85 million in the summer of 2021.

But he was a major disappointment at Old Trafford.

He scored just 12 goals in 82 appearances for United and was regularly a bench player during his time at the club.

Earlier last season, Sancho was frozen out of the squad at Man Utd.

It came after manager Ten Hag criticised Sancho publicly for his poor performances in training, which was followed by the winger essentially calling his manager a liar on social media.

Sancho was not called up again after this incident and was barred from training with the first team, as well as using their facilities and canteen.

Sancho was also deleted from the team’s WhatsApp group by Ten Hag.

United transfer listed him and then sent him on loan to Dortmund in January where he rediscovered some of his form and helped the club to the Champions League final where they lost to Real Madrid.

He subsequently joined Chelsea last summer but is now struggling again.
