Inter make ANOTHER Lukaku bid as Romano reiterates Big Rom decision
Inter continue to pursue a cut-price deal for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku, with football transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano revealing that the Serie A club have launched a second offer for the Belgium international striker.
Chelsea signed Lukaku from Inter for a British record fee of €115 million in the summer of 2021 but two disappointing seasons – one at Stamford Bridge and the second back on loan at San Siro – have seen his value drop significantly.
According to Romano, the Nerazzurri have offered the Blues just €30m for a player who had an Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) of as much as €141m when he was with the club previously.

Lukaku’s decline, though, has been sharp and FootballTransfers now values the player a little over €40m – still more than Inter are offering Chelsea, whose eagerness to sell this summer has seen them offload a string of players for well below their market value.
According to Romano, Chelsea and Inter are set to hold talks over this offer and will “make a decision about the Lukaku situation”.
Although there were reports last week that Juventus were also interested in the 30-year-old, who has a contract until 2026, these appear to have come to nothing.

Lukaku turns down Saudi Pro League
Romano has reiterated that Lukaku, who scored 15 times in 44 games during his second spell with Chelsea, has no intention of moving to the Saudi Pro League, where a string of leading players have moved this summer in order to chase the money offered by the big-spending league.
Following a trend started by Cristiano Ronaldo, players such as Karim Benzema, the current Ballon d’Or holder, and N’Golo Kante have moved to the emerging league.
Lukaku does not want to move to Saudi Arabia, however, with Romano reporting that there is “no chance” the Chelsea striker will depart from the Premier League club to a side that is outside of Europe.
