Chelsea Transfer News Today: AUDACIOUS Osimhen offer, Mudryk SOS, Broja EXIT
The latest Chelsea football transfer news updates, with the hottest updates on all the potential new signings and sales at Stamford Bridge, including Victor Osimhen, Mykhailo Mudryk and Romelu Lukaku.
Osimhen reacts to audacious offer
Victor Osimhen continues to be linked with a move to Chelsea before the end of the transfer window, and the likelihood of that deal has picked up in the wake of revelations concerning his Napoli contract.
The Serie A side have tried to get him to reduce his €11 million-per-year wage in a bid to keep him, but the 25-year-old Nigerian has been having none of it.

Il Mattino reports (via AreaNapoli): “Napoli toyed with the idea of negotiating his salary and trying to spread it [over a number of years]. The response from Osimhen and his agent Roberto Calenda was categorical. The proposal was sent back to sender.”
Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano has positive news for Chelsea with regards Arsenal’s alleged interest in Osimhen: he says the Gunners are not a threat in this case for now.

Lukaku bid rejected
Napoli continue to seek a way to prise Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea, but they have failed in their first offer for the Belgium international striker, who is a player that Antonio Conte loves.
Nicolo Schira indicates that the Serie A club offered a loan deal worth €5m with a compulsory purchase option worth €25m more to Chelsea. This was rebuffed.
The deal is not dead, however. Talks are ongoing and are set to continue on Friday.
Ipswich boss McKenna speaks out on Broja rumours
Chelsea are hoping to offload Armando Broja imminently but the striker’s exit to Ipswich is not yet sealed.
The Blues are set to loan the striker to their Premier League rivals on the basis that they will receive £30 million should Kieran McKenna’s side beat relegation.
McKenna spoke of the deal, stating: “There’s nothing confirmed yet. I still think that’s a little way away, so until that point there’s no reason to comment on it.
“There are still some areas that we feel we want to add to. The forward area is one of those.
"We know that with the level of the league, and how we operate, we need great depth in those areas. We’re a team who probably made more forward substitutions than anyone last year.
"We want to be really strong in those areas and have good depth, we want to add different qualities that we think can help us be successful in the Premier League, so we’re continuing to look at that.”
Mudry needs help, Maresca admits
It was another disappointing night for Mykhailo Mudryk on Thursday as he was unable to provide a telling contribution as Chelsea beat Servette 2-0 in a Conference League clash at Stamford Bridge.
The Ukraine international was criticised for his poor finishing, and Maresca struggled to defend his player after the game, claiming only one aspect of his game needs to improve.
“We need to try and help him change and make the right decisions. Most of his mistakes are not about technique or quality. It’s just about decision-making,” he said.
The Chelsea manager also spoke out on Noni Madueke.
“Yes, absolutely [I want to keep him]. But the problem is, the reality is that until the transfer window is not open, anything can happen. But for sure, Noni is the type of player that I like,” Maresca said.
