Ronaldo doubled Portugal's lead in the 37th minute of the UEFA Nations League clash against Poland in Warsaw in a game that his side eventually won 3-1.

That strike means that Ronaldo now incredibly has found the net 11 times in all competitions this season for club and country. Eight of his goals have been for Al-Nassr and three for Portugal.

He has managed this tally of 11 goals from just 12 appearances totalling 990 minutes of football. That means he is averaging a goal exactly every 90 minutes.

At the age of 39, Ronaldo is showing no signs of slowing down as he continues to maintain his incredible scoring record.

Ronaldo joined Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr on a free transfer in January 2023 after an infamous falling out with Man Utd manager Erik ten Hag saw him released from the club.

Ronaldo has enjoyed a goal-filled spell in Saudi Arabia in the 21 months since arriving.

He scored 52 goals in all competitions across 2023, more than anyone in Europe’s big five leagues.

In total, the 39-year-old has scored 72 goals in 79 games. He was Saudi Pro League top scorer for the 2023-24 season.

Ronaldo released from Man Utd

Ronaldo had his contract at Man Utd rescinded in November 2022 in the week leading up to the World Cup.

This came about after Ronaldo blasted Man Utd in an interview with Piers Morgan, accusing the club and key figures of betraying him and trying to force him out.

He slammed manager Erik ten Hag, former boss Ralf Rangnick, owners The Glazers and club legends Wayne Rooney and Gary Neville.

The interview proved to be the final straw for the club after months of indiscipline and controversy surrounding Ronaldo and his behaviour.

His latest goal and brilliant start to the season will be another reminder to Ten Hag of what he is missing.
