‘Are we playing in prison?’ – Man Utd fans slam ‘HORRENDOUS’ leaked away kit

Manchester United supporters may have had plenty to get excited about on the field this season, but judging by the reaction of fans to the leaked images of their 2023/24 kits, their enthusiasm is set to be quickly dampened.

Red Devils fans have already been critical of what is claimed to be their new home jersey, while leaked images of the away shirt have been given a similarly cold welcome by supporters of the Old Trafford club.

Certainly, the strip does not look like anything United have produced before. It is dark green with white stripes that are split by red pinstripes.

Away kits are often used as an opportunity to produce a more leftfield image of the club, but this one is certainly very different and, as many fans on social media claimed, is more reminiscent of a Fluminense or Real Betis shirt than Man Utd.

Indeed, the overwhelming reception of the shirt on social media has not been a positive one.

Man Utd fans react to leaked away kit

Man Utd's home jersey has already provoked controversy, with fans complaining about the size of the sponsorship logo on that shirt.

The away kit, meanwhile, has simply added to supporters' complaints, with the bold green design not going down well on the whole.
