Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim will oversee a summer transfer window for the first time at Old Trafford in 2025 as he strives to bring the club out of its malaise.

Now that the Erik ten Hag era is over, the club will need to act more shrewdly in the transfer market and the finances at Old Trafford don't make for good reading, so it remains to be seen how much Amorim will be given for a squad overhaul.

Departures will undoubtedly be a priority, also.

There will likely be a focus on youth, with wonderkid Patrick Dorgu being signed from Lecce in January. Geovany Quenda was a target for Amorim, but the Red Devils have lost out to Chelsea in the race to sign the Sporting winger.
