The summer transfer window was a big one for Manchester United as they managed to reinforce the biggest problem areas in their squad.

With a new structure above manager Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils saw significant changes under INEOS in the summer.

Firstly, Ten Hag survived a two-week end-of-season review from the higher-ups at the club, and he even signed a contract extension at Old Trafford after guiding the club to FA Cup glory in May.

Off the pitch, there is now great hope with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS overseeing drastic improvements in the market.

They signed Manuel Ugarte, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee and Noussair Mazraoui in the summer, while Sekou Kone was brought in as one for the future.

Our live Man Utd transfer blog brings you all the latest news surrounding the Red Devils, including exclusives from our own reporters as well as checking out what the other big names are saying (including the likes of Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein).

Eriksen never considered exit

Christian Eriksen said he never considered leaving Man Utd in the summer, despite being linked with a move away from the club.

"I feel very good being at United," said Eriksen. "If they told me to leave I would leave, but I didn't hear that.

"I'm also a guy who likes being in a place where my family is settled and at the same time being in a place where I can benefit and play, that's always going to be my aim.

"It's difficult to ask the manager in the off-season how many minutes I'm going to get in a season. If he starts promising minutes to players we're going to have a long season.

"There was no speaking in that sense, just head down, work hard and focus on each game.

"There's one year left so my focus is going to be on this year, going full out and see what happens afterwards."

Adeyemi interest

Man Utd remain interested in signing Karim Adeyemi from Dortmund.

The Germany international was linked with United in the summer transfer window, but the club decided to go for Joshua Zirkzee instead.

The Red Devils are still keen for attacking reinforcements and could target Adeyemi again, but face competition from Liverpool for his signature. (TeamTalk)
