United's transfer market will be heavily focused around younger players and they see the 20-year-old Guler as the perfect fit.

Guler is widely considered as one of the most talented youngsters in world football and he enjoyed an exceptional Euro 2024 last summer.

Will Guler leave Real Madrid?

Fichajes reports that Guler is very unhappy with his situation at Madrid due to a lack of playing time.

Guler had the world at his feet when he burst onto the scene at Fenerbahce, but he has rarely been allowed to show off his talents since joining Madrid in the summer of 2023.

A pre-season injury derailed his integration into the first team and he finished his debut season at the Santiago Bernabeu with just 13 appearances and 442 minutes of football under his belt.

He has appeared more often this season, but he is still well down the pecking order at Madrid and rarely starts when it matters in big games.

Guler has primarily been allowed to start Copa del Rey games, but regular minutes have been hard to come by elsewhere.

Indeed, he has managed just one La Liga goal this season and none in the Champions League.

As a result, Guler is ready to quit Madrid and the only realistic way the situation can change is if Carlo Ancelotti leaves as coach at the end of the season and is replaced by a manager who insists on making the Turk a key player.

This will not be easy given the presence of so many attacking superstars like Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham.

Arsenal have also been heavily linked with making a move for Guler this summer, seeing him as possibly another Martin Odegaard.
