The summer transfer window was a big one for Manchester United as managed to reinforce the biggest problem areas in their squad.

With a new structure above manager Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils saw significant changes under INEOS in the summer.

The Dutchman survived a two-week end-of-season review from the higher-ups at the club, and he even signed a contract extension at Old Trafford after guiding the club to FA Cup glory in May.

Off the pitch, there is now great hope with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS overseeing drastic improvements in the market.

They signed Manuel Ugarte, Leny Yoro, Matthijs de Ligt, Joshua Zirkzee and Noussair Mazraoui in the summer, while Sekou Kone was brought in as one for the future.

Our live Man Utd transfer blog brings you all the latest news surrounding the Red Devils, including exclusives from our own reporters as well as checking out what the other big names are saying (including the likes of Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein).

Osimhen breaks silence on future

Victor Osimhen has suggested he won't be at Galatasaray next season.

The Nigerian forward is currently on loan at Gala from Napoli after falling out with the club hierarchy in Naples. He is expected to be moved on permanently this summer and has a €75 million release clause that can be triggered by non-Italian sides.

Arsenal, Man Utd, Liverpool and Chelsea have all been linked with the player, but the riches of Saudi Arabia are also an option for Osimhen.

Here's what he wrote told reporters:

“Galatasaray will always be in my heart. There are always rumours about me, I think about the present. I am enjoying this moment; the fans always support me. At the right time, the best decision for everyone will be made."

Not a great start to negotiations...

Man Utd target 'the next Modric'

Arsenal, Chelsea, Man City and Man Utd are interested in signing Dinamo Zagreb wonderkid Martin Baturina.

The young Croatian, who has been dubbed 'the new Luka Modric', was actually linked with a move to join the Balon d'Or winner at Real Madrid last summer but he opted to stay with his current club to continue his development.

Now, with 11 Croatia caps under his belt, he is ready to make the next step in his career, with the aforementioned English giants all keen on bringing him to the Premier League. (TBR Football)

Chelsea still interested in Garnacho

Chelsea and Napoli will take their interest in Alejandro Garnacho forward after Man Utd lowered their asking price.

The Argentine winger was linked with an Old Trafford exit in January but suitors were put off by United's £60 million asking price.

Il Mattino reports that the asking price is now closer to £40m which means Chelsea and Napoli may make an approach in the summer.

United probably won't be signing Cherki...

Man Utd goalkeeper issues

United need to win the Europa League to get Delap

There are at least 10 clubs interested in signing Liam Delap from Ipswich, but there are a couple of demands from the player himself that may reduce that number.

According to the Telegraph, the striker wants to join a club who will play in Europe next season but also wants to be recognised as the starting centre-forward.

Therefore, Man Utd would have to win the Europa League and gain entry in the Champions League to have a hope of signing him.

More on Branthwaite...

Delap available on the cheap?

Half of the Premier League reportedly wants to sign Liam Delap from Ipswich this summer, and he may become available for a cheaper fee that previously thought.

It was initially suggested that, should Ipswich be relegated, Delap would be available for £40 million. However, Jacob Steinberg of the Guardian reports that there is a relegation clause worth around £30m that could see the player leave.

Arsenal, Chelsea, Man Utd, Newcastle and Aston Villa are among the clubs interested.

Man Utd lower Garnacho price

It seems Man Utd are increasingly keen to offload Alejandro Garnacho this summer as they have lowered their asking price.

In the January transfer window, the Argentine was linked with Napoli and Chelsea, and it seems the Italian side will reignite their interest in the summer as United have lowered price tag to €50 million.

Garnacho has four goals and just one assist in 30 Premier League matches this season. (CalcioMercato)

Everton expect Branthwaite departure

Man Utd and Tottenham have been put on high alert after news emerged that Everton expect Jarrad Branthwaite to leave the club this summer.

The central defender has been a long-term target for the Red Devils, who were interested in a deal last summer only to pursue Leny Yoro instead.

United could still make a move for Branthwaite, but they face stiff competition from Spurs which will undoubtedly drive up the price. (Sun)

Delap's options

Chelsea ahead of Man Utd in Delap race

Chelsea are ahead of the competition, including Man Utd, in the race to sign Liam Delap.

The Ipswich striker is enjoying a positive campaign in 2024/25 despite the club's struggles, with relegation soon to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

Delap will be a wanted man come the summer with a reported £40 million release clause in play, and the Blues have reportedly been tracking his progress since 2023. (TBR Football)

Man Utd set to trigger Osimhen release clause

Man Utd will look to strike an early deal for Victor Osimhen and secure his signing before the summer.

The Nigerian is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli after falling out with the club hierarchy in Naples. He'll be a wanted man in the upcoming transfer window and has been linked with a number of clubs, but United will soon look to trigger his €75 million release clause. (Taktik Mania)

Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus and Barcelona are also interested.

Sancho future 'completely open'

No decision has been made on Jadon Sancho's future which is currently "completely open" according to Fabrizio Romano.

Sancho is currently on loan from Man Utd at Chelsea, who have the option to buy the player for around £25 million. Rumours circulated that the Blues were trying to get out of that clause by paying United a £5m penalty, but the club are yet to decide what to do with the winger.

“It all depends on Chelsea. They haven’t told Man United about Sancho being sent back to them. So the story is considered absolutely open, and the final games could prove important, crucial to deciding Sancho’s future at Stamford Bridge,” Romano told GiveMeSport.
