Manchester United have started arguably the most pivotal transfer window in their modern history as INEOS take control of football operations at Old Trafford.

Article continues under the video

With a new structure above manager Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils have already seen significant changes this summer.

The Dutchman has survived a two-week end-of-season review from the higher-ups at the club so he will be in charge of the team on the opening game of the 2024/25 Premier League campaign.

He has even signed a contract extension at Old Trafford after guiding the club to FA Cup glory in May.

Off the pitch, there is now great hope with Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS looking to oversee drastic improvement on the pitch following their arrival earlier this year.

No more Ed Woodward, and hopefully a structure which can set up the club for future success. Expect many players to leave and several to come in during the summer transfer window.

Our live Man Utd transfer blog brings you all the latest news surrounding the Red Devils, including exclusives from our own reporters as well as checking out what the other big names are saying (including the likes of Fabrizio Romano and David Ornstein).

There are expected to be many moves this summer with players coming and going, and the Old Trafford rumour mill is already in full swing.

Amrabat could return to Man Utd

Man Utd won't sign Sofyan Amrabat on a permanent basis from Fiorentina, but that doesn't mean he won't return to Old Trafford.

The Morocco international spent last season on loan at the Red Devils, who recently opted against making the transfer permanent.

However, Man Utd and Fiorentina are apparently in talks over another loan move for the 2024/25 campaign. (Calciomercato)

United identify Wan-Bissaka replacement

Should Aaron Wan-Bissaka leave Man Utd, the club will look to replace him with either Monaco's Vanderson or Leverkusen's Jeremie Frimpong.

The Red Devils are poised to sell Wan-Bissaka this summer rather than allowing him to leave for free upon the expiration of his contract in 12 months.

Yoro praised for first outing

Andre Onana has praised Leny Yoro for his first performance in a Man Utd shirt.

“Great guy, very young player. Good on the ball. We will enjoy him this season," the goalkeeper told Sky Sports.

"He’s going to be alright because we have very good scouts here, so if they made him come that means he has a lot of quality.”

Yoro featured for United in a 2-0 victory against Rangers on Sunday.

More on potential Richard Rios deal

Chelsea's Brazilian recruit could scupper Man Utd transfer plans

Chelsea could scupper Man Utd's plans to sign Richard Rios from Palmeiras.

Goal Brazil claim that the Red Devils have contacted Palmeiras to ask about Rios' availability, but it is unlikely the club will sanction another sale so recently after allowing Estevao Willian to join Chelsea.

Should Man Utd make their interest concrete, they will have to pay at least £17 million to land the former futsal player.

United won't sign Amrabat

Man Utd have decided not to sign Sofyan Amrabat on a permanent basis from Fiorentina.

The Morocco international spent last season on loan at Old Trafford to try and earn a permanent deal, but has apparently not showed enough to convince the club or Erik ten Hag to pull the trigger on a transfer from Serie A. (Tuttomercato)

United confident on Simons deal

Man Utd are confident they can beat the competition to sign Xavi Simons from PSG.

The Dutchman is a wanted man this summer following an excellent season on loan at RB Leipzig in 2023/24, while he showed glimpses of real quality at the European Championships, too.

Bayern Munich were previously favourites to land his signature, while Arsenal were interested also, but Man Utd think they can conclude a deal with the French champions. (Sport)

Unnamed club bids for Joao Neves

Benfica chief Rui Costa has confirmed that the club has received a bid for Joao Neves.

He told A Bola: "I never said that Joao Neves would only leave for his release clause and therefore those claims are false. What I can say in relation to Joao Neves is that there is an offer on the table. That has been in the news in the last days but I’m not going to say where this proposal stands. There is a proposal on the table which is being evaluated and is being discussed. But at this moment, Joao Neves remains a Benfica player."

Neves has been strongly linked with both Arsenal and Man Utd this summer.
