Man Utd push Trent Alexander-Arnold to REJECT Real Madrid
Man Utd are praying that Trent Alexander-Arnold does NOT join Real Madrid in 2025 as it will cost the Red Devils a lot of money.
Real Madrid are trying to sign Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool, and are expected to complete the deal either on a free transfer in the summer or for a reduced transfer fee this month.
But, according to iSport, Madrid's backup option if they don't sign Trent is Man Utd full back Diogo Dalot.
Dalot has been a long-term target of Madrid and is valued by Man Utd at over €50 million.
United would jump at the chance of selling the Portuguese international for that price but Madrid would only pursue him again if the Alexander-Arnold deal falls through.
Thus, United are hoping that the Liverpool star ends up staying at Anfield so they can benefit financially.
Madrid are desperate to sign a right back after Dani Carvajal suffered a season-ending ACL injury earlier this term.
Liverpool have not yet decided whether to sell Trent or let him leave on a free transfer at the end of the season.
It is widely expected that Alexander-Arnold will join Madrid on a Bosman Transfer at the end of the season when his Liverpool contract expires.
Man City, Barcelona and PSG are all reported to also be making late moves for the Englishman, who is now able to officially sign a pre-contract with his next club.

Contract talks with Liverpool have not been going well and it is widely reported in Spain that a free transfer to Real Madrid is already agreed.
Real Madrid have reportedly offered Trent Alexander-Arnold a contract worth a staggering €90 million.
The Liverpool right back is said to have been offered a five year contract with a salary of €17-18m per season. That will be worth an incredible €90m over the course of his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of Alexander-Arnold and see the right back as the long-term successor to the ageing and injured Dani Carvajal.
