Ruben Amorim to be sacked? ‘Man Utd manager has lost dressing room’

Ruben Amorim's future on the Manchester United bench is coming under increased scrutiny and there are claims he may have already lost the team's dressing room.
Amorim was only appointed as Man Utd manager just over three months ago, on November 1, following the sacking of Erik ten Hag.
The 39-year-old arrived with high hopes after a brilliant spell at Sporting Lisbon, where he won two Primeira Liga titles and developed a host of talented players such as Viktor Gyokeres.

However, Amorim’s first few months at Old Trafford have been a disaster.
He has a win rate of just 43 per cent - one of the worst in the club's history - and has overseen United dropping to 15th in the Premier League table.
Indeed, Amorim has a far inferior record to his much-maligned predecessor Ten Hag, who had a 54.7% win rate between 2022 and 2024.

As a result, there are increasing calls for Amorim to be sacked by Man Utd fans and his position will surely be under threat soon if the team don't improve fast.
Former Arsenal star Martin Keown believes there must be problems in the United dressing room.
What did Keown say?
“I don’t think they are tuned in and believe everything. There must be an issue," Keown said on TalkSport about the dressing room.
“I looked at the game where he took [Joshua] Zirkzee off after 33 minutes and thought that it was the manager’s fault.
“I don’t think they needed two strikers (against Spurs); they needed an extra midfielder.
“This once-great club, look at Amorim’s record since he’s been there, which is 14 Premier League games, four wins, and eight losses.
“Whereas look at Everton, in the same amount of time for David Moyes, a former United manager, are getting results. You could argue his players maybe aren’t quite as good, but this once-great club is now falling from a great height.
“The panic button is close to being pressed. You can’t keep performing as they did against Spurs.
“The tactics are flawed; we’ve been saying it for weeks now. The midfield, Casemiro sitting on his own, Spurs exploiting that with two players in those pockets. James Maddison ran the show. Fernandes was a boy lost on the pitch.
“Do we want to see United go out of the top flight? Do we enjoy the rivalry they create in the Premier League?”
On Sunday, United lost 1-0 to Tottenham in London.
United are next in action on Saturday when they play Everton at Goodison Park.
