Real Madrid mega transfer is ‘98% done’
Real Madrid's deal to sign Trent Alexander-Arnold on a free transfer is '98 per cent done'.
That is according to Relevo, who report that it is now almost certain that Trent will pen a contract to become a Real Madrid player.
Negotiations between the Liverpool full back and Madrid have virtually reached a conclusion, with only some minor details to complete.

Madrid had been in talks with Liverpool to sign Trent for a cut-price fee this month but a deal was impossible to do as the Reds want to keep the player for their Premier League title bid.
As a result, Madrid have settled on signing Trent on a free transfer at the end of the season when his contract at Anfield expires.
Contract talks with Liverpool have long since ended, with the Reds giving up all hope of keeping him at the club past this season.

Real Madrid have reportedly offered Trent Alexander-Arnold a contract worth a staggering €90 million.
The Liverpool right back is said to have been offered a five year contract with a salary of €17-18m per season. That will be worth an incredible €90m over the course of his contract at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Real Madrid have been long-term admirers of Alexander-Arnold and see the right back as the long-term successor to the ageing and injured Dani Carvajal.

Alexander-Arnold at Liverpool
Alexander-Arnold was born in Liverpool and grew up in the club’s youth academy from the age of six.
He made his senior debut for Liverpool at the age of 18 in 2016 and went on to become a key player in Jurgen Klopp’s successful era at the club.
Famed for his brilliant right-foot, vision and long cross-field passes, Alexander Arnold has made over 300 appearances for Liverpool.
He has won seven trophies with Liverpool, including the 2019 Champions League and 2020 Premier League.
He has been capped 33 times by England but under previous manager Gareth Southgate never had the same trust from his country as he has had at his club.
