Gareth Bale the latest big name to join Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s investment group
Gareth Bale is the star name among a group of soccer stars to sign up to Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy’s sports investment group, TMRW Sports.
Former Real Madrid superstar Bale, along with USWNT legend Alex Morgan, ex-USMNT striker Jozy Altidore and retired MLS star Servando Carrasco are all part of the initial investor group spearheaded by the two golf icons.
TMRW Sports “is focused on building progressive approaches to sports, media, and entertainment to create new pathways for the next generation to enjoy sports.”

Other sport stars to invest in the project include Lewis Hamilton, Carlos Sainz, Lando Norris and Alex Albon from Formula One.
From the world of tennis there is Andy Murray, Serena Williams, whilst the NBA is represented by the likes of Stephen Curry and Jayson Tatum.
Pop star Justin Timberlake is also part of the initial investor group, as are many other huge names from the world of finance and media/technogly.
What is TMRW Sports all about?
“Over the past year, we’ve assembled a team of investors who will help deliver on the TMRW Sports’ mission to positively impact how sports are experienced in the future," said co-founder and CEO Mike McCarley.
"And we’ve been intentional about diversity of expertise, thought and backgrounds as we mobilised this strategic group.
“From the very beginning, our plan has been to partner with the best-in-class in every way imaginable.
"Tiger, Rory, and I value the support of this unrivalled team of investors, advisors, and ambassadors who believe in our vision to harness technology to create progressive approaches to sports.
"Their combined broad reach [500million followers across Twitter and Instagram] and cultural relevance will expand potential opportunities and fanbases for TMRW projects."
It is an interesting career move from Bale, in particular, who this past summer ran out his contract at Real Madrid to join Los Angeles FC.
