Messi set for ANOTHER reunion in Miami
Lionel Messi could be lining up alongside one more familiar face at Inter Miami, with the MLS outfit reportedly trying to sign his former PSG teammate Sergio Ramos.
Messi is now officially a Miami player, following the expiry of his PSG contract, as is his ex-Barcelona colleague Sergio Busquets – who has also moved as a free agent.
And both Messi and Busquets will be very familiar with their new boss: Miami appointed Gerardo ‘Tata’ Martino, who spent the 2013/14 season in charge of Barca, as head coach earlier this week.

Now, according to SPORT, Miami – who are part-owned by David Beckham – have opened talks with Ramos about a potential switch to Florida.
The 37-year-old centre-back is currently a free agent, having joined Messi in leaving PSG after two seasons with the Ligue 1 giants.
Prior to their spell together in Paris, Ramos and Messi spent 16 years as La Liga adversaries, with Ramos coming up against Messi’s Barca in El Clasico season after season.

Getting the band back together
Ramos had been linked with a return to the La Liga to rejoin boyhood club Sevilla, but the 2010 World Cup winner could now be one of two more Spaniards following Busquets to Miami – who are also said to be in discussions with national team captain Jordi Alba, 34.
Alba – like Ramos, a member of Spain’s triumphant Euro 2012 side and an ex-teammate of Messi's – has just been released by Barcelona after 11 years at the Camp Nou, going out on a high by winning the 2022/23 La Liga title.
Both players could line up alongside Messi and Busquets for Inter Miami later this month, with the 2023 MLS season currently in progress.
