The five highest-valued Brazilians to miss out on World Cup squad
Brazil's 2022 World Cup squad is stacked with world-class players, which is why there are heading into the tournament as one of the favourites to lift the famous trophy.
The likes of Alisson, Thiago Silva, Casemiro, and Neymar are in their squad, with Brazil possessing a squad capable of matching anyone player-for-player.
However, as with any World Cup squad for the bigger nations, there are some high-profile names who haven't made the cut for Tite's squad.

Emerson Royal - €50.1m
The Tottenham star may divide opinion online, but he is valued at €50.1m according to our model, which is helped by the fact he is just 23 years old and has a contract at Spurs until 2026.
He has seven international caps to his name, but veteran Dani Alves and Danilo were preferred in the right-back department.

Gabriel Magalhaes - €42.3m
The Arsenal defender's omission has caused some shock, but he's yet to register a senior cap so his exclusion shouldn't be too surprising, with Marquinhos, Thiago Silva, Eder Militao and Bremer selected ahead of him.
Gabriel is valued at €42.3m.
Caio Henrique - €41.4m
Like Gabriel, Caio Henrique is yet to win his first senior cap, so the left-back's omission from Brazil's World Cup will come as little shock.
The Monaco man is valued at €41.4m, and Alex Sandro and Alex Telles were selected ahead of him.
Danilo - €34m
The Palmeiras midfielder has attracted interest from high-profile European clubs lately, but with a stacked midfield area in the Brazil squad, he wasn't selected. His value is €34m.
Douglas Luiz - €33.9m
Douglas Luiz has a transfer value of €33.9m, and missed out on the squad to the likes of Bruno Guimaraes, Lucas Paqueta, and Fred.
