Ronan Murphy is a Bundesliga expert and is Head of Social for the Realtimes Network's English language websites, including FootballTransfers, GPFans and Anfield Watch, among others. He joined FootballTransfers in 2022, having spent the previous decade helping to make Goal.com the world’s biggest football website. He served as Deputy Editor of the Ireland edition and later Social Media Editor for all of Goal’s English language editions.
He can also be seen on television screens across South East Asia, appearing as a pundit on the Sony Sports Network as part of its coverage of the Bundesliga and the Champions League. Ronan has also appeared as a guest on a string of various television stations, radio shows, and podcasts across all continents, where it is claimed that an Irish accent will open many doors.
He does not support any football club (despite the fact you think he may hate your team), as he had the incredible misfortune of seeing both of his closest League of Ireland teams – Kilkenny City and Kildare County - go bankrupt during his teenage years.
