Carlo Garganese

Carlo Garganese is a highly-respected football writer, broadcaster and editor with more than 15 years of experience working at the highest level for major global brands. Garganese spent 12 years at Goal.com, where he played a significant role in building and developing the website into one of the largest football media organisations in the world.

Garganese has interviewed many stars and legends of the sport, including among others Arrigo Sacchi, Andrea Pirlo, Gianfranco Zola, Michael Ballack, Ronald de Boer and Sven-Goran Eriksson. He also interviewed legends of other sports about football - including sprinter Usain Bolt.

Over the course of his career, Garganese has built up a major following on social media and most notably Twitter, where he is recognised as one of the foremost English language experts in Italian football. He often appears on TV and radio to discuss Italian football as well as penning his Calcio thoughts for respected outlets such as Football Italia.

Carlo also is the co-creator and co-host of The Italian Football Podcast, which is the biggest English language show in the world on the topic of Italian football.
