Stuart Telford is a football writer, broadcaster and SEO specialist with more than 20 years in the industry.

After playing to NCAA level in the U.S., he dedicated himself to journalism on graduation, covering the game in his native Scotland for The Times, The Herald and the Press Association.

He then completed a post-grad in Madrid, sponsored by Eurosport, which led to a job with the pan-European sports channel at their headquarters in Paris. He spent four years there, primarily covering Germany's Bundesliga.

After a brief hiatus working in software whilst undertaking the UEFA B Coaching license at Largs, he moved to Germany, where he was promoted to the role of International Content Manager, spending five years in the position.

Now back home in Scotland with a Swiss wife and a young son who will hopefully play for the former, Stuart also does technical reports for UEFA, and writes for the official websites of the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 as well as the work he does for FootballTransfers.
