Mudryk all over again! Arsenal OUTBID for French star
Arsenal are being outbid by Brighton in the race to sign Galatasaray star Sacha Boey.
The Gunners were famously outbid by Chelsea in January when the latter completed the transfer of Mykhailo Mudryk, though in that case it ultimately turned out to be a blessing in disguise as Mikel Arteta and company ended up with Brighton star Leandro Trossard, who has been a much better signing than the Ukrainian.
Perhaps because Arsenal took one of the Seagulls' stars in January, they are now trying to get a bit of revenge on the North London side by swooping in for one of their targets.

According to Turkish journalist Nevzat Dindar, Arsenal have offered a transfer package worth €17 million for Galatasaray's Sacha Boey. Brighton, however, have now offered €18.5m in a bid to pip the Gunners to his signature.
Who is Boey?
But why do these two Premier League clubs want to sign the Frenchman who plays his club football in Turkey and who is he? Boey is a 22-year-old right-back who is on the verge of winning the Turkish Super Lig with Galatasaray.
The former Rennes man has featured regularly this season, contributing with four assists and a goal in the league. What makes Boey so attractive is his cost.
EXCLUSIVE: Arteta opens talks over new Arsenal contract
Despite the ongoing bidding war between Brighton and Arsenal potentially driving his price higher, he is still a comparatively cheap option given the potential upside. Indeed, his stock is still relatively low because of Galatasaray's awful last season that saw them finish 13th.
Boey's Estimated Transfer Value (ETV) plummeted from a peak of €17.5 million in late 2021 to a low of just €2.1 million at the start of this season. His value is only beginning to recover now that Galatasaray are back where they belong. The 22-year-old could be a low-risk, high-reward signing.
