Merciless Man Utd tipped to sell 10 players
Manchester United have been linked with a number of new signing this summer, from Harry Kane to Frenkie de Jong, but what about those set to leave Old Trafford?
Erik ten Hag has already put his own stamp on the team since being appointed at the start of the season, steering United to the EFL Cup and up to third in the Premier League, but there is more work to be done.
A new No.9 is a priority with 29-goal top scorer Marcus Rashford doing his best work from the left flank and Wout Weghorst having resolutely failed to replace Cristiano Ronaldo at the point of the attack.

But while the Glazer family are fielding big-money bids from Sheikh Jassim and Sir Jim Ratcliffe for ownership of the club, Ten Hag would happily fund some summer signings with players sales, using the opportunity to get of dead wood.

Saleable assets?
According to the Manchester Evening News' Samuel Luckhurst, there are 10 players on the chopping block: Eric Bailly, Anthony Elanga, Dean Henderson, Harry Maguire, Anthony Martial, Scott McTominay, Alex Telles, Donny van de Beek, Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Brandon Williams.
Of those, Maguire and McTominay are likely to generate the biggest transfer profits, rated at €29.8 million and €29.7m respectively by FootballTransfers' in-house algorithm - Martial is €31.1m but it is understood the Red Devils are struggling to find takers.

The France forward was on loan at Sevilla last season but they baulked at the idea of making his stay permanent after a return of one goals in 12 games.
Maguire has been linked with a move to Aston Villa after he was pictured having a meal with his agent at a restaurant near their training ground during the winter transfer window, while McTominay's most likely destination would appear to be Newcastle.
