Chelsea target Moukoko hits back at Dortmund contract rumours
Chelsea transfer target and Germany wonderkid Youssoufa Moukoko has taken to social media to respond to rumours that his wage demands have caused contract extension talks with Borussia Dortmund to stall.
The 18-year-old is currently under contract at the Signal Iduna Park until June 2023, and the Bundesliga giants are keen to tie him down to a new deal amid serious interest from Premier League side Chelsea.
According to multiple reports, the Blues have sounded out Moukoko as a potential transfer target and, following the injury to Armando Broja, are open to fast-tracking their pursuit of the youngster to January in order to bulk up their forward line.

However, it's since been reported that Moukoko's financial demands are the reason why Dortmund haven't tied him down to a new deal, with the two parties said to be engrossed in a stand-off. This has, however, been rubbished by Moukoko, who took to Instagram to respond to the rumours.
What has Moukoko said?
The teenager posted on Instagram Stories: "Please don't believe everything that's been written in the papers. I won't let myself be pressured into a decision about my future. I will never accept such a lie about me.
"My full focus is on the second half of the season with Borussia Dortmund. No player is bigger than the club and I will never be bigger than the club, just a small part of it. It's really sad that something like that is invented just to paint you fans a wrong picture about me. I am really shocked by this story."

Dortmund are keen to extend Moukoko's contract to keep him at the club for a while longer. They lost Erling Haaland to Manchester City during the summer and are expected to sell Jude Bellingham in 2023 with Liverpool and Real Madrid among the interested parties.
As a result, it's believed they want to keep Moukoko at the club, despite Chelsea's interest. Under Todd Boehly, the Blues have began signing talented teenagers for large fees in an attempt to build their next great team years in advance.
Carney Chukwuemeka, Gabriel Slonina, Omari Hutchinson and Cesare Casadei all joined in the summer, while Andrey Santos is expected to be next. Moukoko is another player the West London side want to add to their roster, but negotiations have reportedly been difficult with an agreement not yet reached.
