EXCLUSIVE: Chelsea will snub any Lewis Hall interest amid Newcastle links
Chelsea are adamant that Lewis Hall will not be sold this summer, despite interest from Newcastle United.
Eddie Howe is currently looking for a left-back and it’s thought that Hall is being considered as a target. However, we are told that Chelsea will not sell under any circumstances - especially given the fact they have already lost Mason Mount to a Premier League rival this window.
Hall was one of the standout performers for the Blues last season, after being promoted to the first-team on a full-time basis. Chelsea rate the 18-year-old highly and will not entertain permanent offers for the player, particularly not from a club they could be competing with for a Champions League spot this year.

Hall is a gifted young player and though interest is there, it’s very unlikely that any move will materialise this summer.
Howe has assembled his frontline and midfield for next season, with Sandro Tonali and Harvey Barnes both arriving through the door.
Now the manager is looking to find a left-back and right-sided centre-back. Southampton right-back Tino Livramento has also been subject to offers but so far the clubs have not managed to agree on a fee.
As we revealed, Joachim Andersen is highly thought of, but Crystal Palace are adamant they want to keep him and a fee would have to be in the region of £40m or more.

Howe on targets
Howe spoke to reporters about potential transfers during Newcastle’s pre-season tour of the States. He said: “A number is difficult. As soon as I say that, we put ourselves under more pressure. I hope we can do more business.
"I think we need to…not loads of players coming through the door because we don’t have the ability financially to do that because of FFP. Hopefully, it will be quality over quantity.”
Newcastle face Brighton tomorrow night as part of their Premier League Summer Series tour.
