EXCLUSIVE: Khephren Thuram and Liverpool agree terms
OGC Nice midfielder Khephren Thuram has verbally agreed to personal terms with Liverpool, FootballTransfers can reveal.
The Frenchman, who has been on Liverpool’s radar since January, had been in advanced talks with the Premier League club over a proposed move and now the two parties have agreed a deal in principle, multiple sources tell us.
We hear that now talks are underway between the two clubs over a fee. It is thought that Nice are looking for maximum value, knowing that the 22-year-old has other interested suitors, such as Newcastle. Thuram has been pushing for a move to Anfield along with his entourage.
As reported previously, Jurgen Klopp is a huge fan of the player and has liked him since the turn of the year. The club opted not to make a move in the January window but are now pressing ahead.

Khéphren Thuram - price tag dictated by amount of interested suitors. In theory Nice would accept €45m - but likelihood is he’ll go closer to €60m or more. As reported before, player almost certain to leave Allianz Riviera in the summer.

Reds targets
The club have already brought in Alexis Mac Allister from Brighton after activating the World Cup winner’s release clause of £35million. Thuram has a price tag of around £55m and we understand that Nice have been reluctant to accept instalments for the France international, having knocked back such an offer from Paris Saint-Germain.
Manu Kone remains a target for Liverpool and talks are well underway for the Borussia Monchengladbach star, as well, though there is still yet to be a breakthrough. Kone would be available for around £30m but has other Premier League interest, such as from Chelsea and Newcastle.
Liverpool remain admirers of Romeo Lavia, as FootballTransfers broke too, though this time in March. Southampton will demand some £50m but it’s thought unlikely that the 19-year-old will end up going for such a high price.
