Liverpool star drops BOMBSHELL over future
Thiago’s Liverpool future is no clearer, after the midfielder removed any mention of the club from his Instagram bio.
The 32-year-old is into the final 12 months of his Reds contract and doesn’t look likely to extend his stay at Anfield.
As such, if Liverpool are to recoup any of the £25m (€30m) they paid to sign Thiago from Bayern Munich three years ago, they may well have to force a sale this summer.

On Monday (July 3), eagle-eyed Reds fans spotted that Thiago no longer had his club’s name in the bio of his Instagram profile, sparking a fresh flurry of exit rumours.
That said, some were quick to point out that other Liverpool stars like Mo Salah and Alisson don’t make any reference to the reds on their own Instagram accounts.
The fact that Thiago used to include that detail, though, has got supports speculating that he could be on his way out of Anfield during the current transfer window.

Is time up for Thiago?
Liverpool endured an underwhelming 2022/23 – and it was a thoroughly frustrating one for Thiago on an individual level, too.
Injury ruled the Spain international out of much of the second half of the campaign; indeed, he was fit for just three of the Reds’ final 18 games, featuring only 28 times all season.
Previously a key cog in Jurgen Klopp’s midfield, Thiago’s influence has waned as Liverpool’s dominance has dipped.
And with the 2019/20 Premier League champions hard at work rebuilding their midfield – they’ve already signed Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai – few would be surprised to see Thiago say his farewells in the next couple of months.
