Ten Hag reveals £75,000-per-week star hasn't completed ONE training session
Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag has revealed that £75,000 per week star Phil Jones has not yet completed a training session since he took over in May 2022.
Jones, 30, is under contract at Old Trafford until this summer, but there is an option to extend the deal by a further year. However, given his lack of involvement in recent years, it's expected that he'll be released upon the expiry of his deal.
Jones has not played a single minute in any competition under Ten Hag, and he's not even been a regular presence at training. According to Manchester Evening News, Jones was last spotted at Man Utd's Carrington training facility back in October, while he was waiting in reception for a meeting.

Jones has missed over 200 Man Utd games through injury since joining the club in 2011, with the bulk of them coming in his most recent knee injury - which ruled him out for 454 days and 78 games between June 2020 and September 2021.
Since Jones signed a four-and-a-half-year deal in February 2019, he has started just 16 games in all competitions, and he's featured in just six Premier League matches since the start of the 2019/20 campaign.
Jones was reportedly removed from the first-team squad in September, and has been following his own individual training plan away from the Man Utd squad, but Ten Hag has been keen to keep things quiet in regards to Jones' future.

What has Ten Hag said?
When asked about Jones' contract situation, Ten Hag replied: "No, it's not been taken until now. The decision about that is for the summer, but for the whole season he's injured.
"I can't say [if Jones will play again this season]. What I can say is that he's not available for training since the first day of training this season so I think there's not an opportunity for you to recover quickly and be available quickly."
Jones is yet to even train with Man Utd this campaign, suggesting he's played his last game for the club and his career at Old Trafford will soon be over.
