Paul Pogba: I’m ‘1000%’ involved at Manchester United
Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has reaffirmed his commitment to the club by stating that he’s “1000% involved”.
The French international started in Saturday’s Manchester derby and while the game results in a drab 0-0 draw between United and Manchester City, it did seem to suggest that Pogba was still a vital member of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s plans.
This notably contrasts with comments from Pogba’s agent, Mino Raiola, who recently stated that Pogba’s time at Old Trafford was “over” and that the midfielder would either be leaving in January or at the end of the season.
However, Pogba has now distanced himself from that idea and seems intent on staying put at the Premier League side.

“I’ve always fought and will always fight for Manchester United, my teammates and the fans,” said the player on his Instagram account.
“Bla bla is not important. The future is far, today is what matters and I am 1000% involved!
“Always strong together.. all has been clear between the club and myself and that will never change.
“When you don’t know what’s going on inside don’t talk.”
Pogba’s comments should pour cold water on rumours that have suggested the midfielder could be set on leaving Man United in the January transfer window.
The French international’s former club, Juventus, have always been a likely destination for the midfielder if he ever left United and some reports had suggested that the Serie A giants would be willing to either loan Pogba in January or swap him for Cristiano Ronaldo.
If the 27-year old does now plan on staying put at Old Trafford he may have to improve his performances if he hopes to keep a starting role in Solskjaer’s team.
Despite starting against Man City on Saturday, Pogba has only managed one goal in nine Premier League games this season and has just two assists in five appearances in the Champions League.
