Lautaro Martinez is the most highly-valued player in Serie A.

The Inter striker has emerged as one of the game's new stars due to his time in Italy and played a crucial part in the club's Scudetto win last season. He has been tipped for a big-money move to the Premier League, with Barcelona and Real Madrid also linked with the Argentine in the past.

He is valued at €92.1m.

REVEALED: The world's most valuable footballers

The second most valuable footballer currently plying their trade in Serie A is Juventus' Matthijs de Ligt.

Following a stellar few seasons with Ajax, the Dutch defender earned a massive €75 million transfer to Juventus in the summer of 2019.

De Ligt's profile, age and the fact he has already moved for such a high sum are all major contributing factors to his high value in Serie A.

He is valued at €76.8m, so very close to what Juventus paid for him a couple of years ago.

In third is Nicolo Barella, valued at €64.5m. The young midfielder has become a key player both for Inter and the Italy national side, with him playing a key role in the nation's Euro 2020 triumph.

Two Milan players in a row make up the top five, with Alexis Saelemaekers and Franck Kessie valued at €52m and €49.9m respectively. Unfortunately for Milan, they will likely lose Kessie for free this summer when his contract expires.

We go back to Inter for number six, with Alessandro Bastoni valued at €45.6m. He is considered by many to be a future captain of the Nerazzurri.

Juventus now have three players in a row making up entries seven, eight and nine. Federico Chiesa's injury issues have seen his value drop slightly but still has a healthy number of €43.1, while new Manuel Locatell is valued at €42.8m

Dusan Vlahovic may have been a €75m January transfer window signing, but we value the Serbian at €42.2m. Expect that value to soar pretty soon, however.

Rounding out the top 10 is Roma's English striker Tammy Abraham (€41.2m)
